She Who Cries Alone.

Silent and alone she sits in the dark
With tears running down her face
she cries to the stars

Kneeling on the ground, she prays to her God
Empty lies and empty prayers
to prove he's just a fraud

Loosing all control she has nowhere left to turn
Calling out to no one
her soul is left to burn

Her mirror reflects back to her a look that gives her pain
twisting her blackened cheeks
to something with no name

Haunting eyes look at her, filling her with doubt
there is nothing left to do
for there's no need to shout
